Find Your Mountain

I am a morning person. I love to arise before the sun and watch God gradually paint me a picture to start my day.

I don't remember how or why, but I recently tagged the mountain outside my window as a visual reminder of God's love. It has been a game-changer for me. Most mornings, I take it slow to start my day. I like to try to connect with God and spend some time with Him before I dive in to my day.

I have a spot on my sofa with a big picture window next to it. One of my favorite things is to be in my spot and watch that picture window gradually change from complete darkness to the shadow of a majestic mountain with the sun rising behind it. Many times it takes my breath away. Every time, I'm reminded of God's constant and giant love for me and for all of His children. It is always there. It is constant. It is steady. It is reliable. And it is breathtaking!
